Idea 2: Using a wooden skewer, alternate watermelon, strawberries, and blueberries
Summer Fruit Salad
Why do fruit salads always have only 1 good fruit in them? When I make them, I grab all the favorites and toss them together. It’s turned out so well in the past. While noe exactly patriotic themed, I still recommend bringing this to share. Here’s what’s included:
- Strawberries
- Cuties
- Bananas
- Pineapple
- Apple
- Grapes
Cut up the larger fruits into bite size pieces, mix, and serve!

Pigs In A Blanket
It’s like hot dogs but on a tinier scale! I love pigs in a blanket. They taste yummy and are easy and fun to make. I never have any left over.
What you’ll need:
- Crescent Roll Dough
- Lil Smokies
Step 1- Roll out and cut the dough into triangles
Step 2- Place a little smokie in the dough and roll up like a crescent
Step 3- Place on a cookie sheet and bake according to the crescent dough instructions
